| Ollie is the basic trick to all skating moves you've heard of like kickflip, heelflip, pop shuv it, or tre flip. Here are some tips to learning to ollie. 1.Push down your tail as hard as you can with your back foot to get the pop. 2.Slide you front foot up quickly to get your ollie high as possible Problems: Shoot out: You slide your foot beyond what you need to and do like a ollie north Turning: Your either turning your waist or moving your feet in a random direction Some tips to ollieing higher: 1.Pop: Push the down the tail hard as you can to get the board high as possible 2.Slide: Quicker you slide the quicker you get your tail heigh which is counted when measuring your ollie 3. Pump: Jump as high as possible and use the previous two steps 1 & 2. 4.Foot placement: Put your front foot 2in. behind the front truck so you can slide more and pull the tail higher when you pop. | |
