Ahhh yes the kickflip. One of the most basic tricks and the most difficult to learn. Kickflips were invented by Rodney Mullen and were once called Magic Flips
.
Tricks to know:
Ollie (1 deck at least)
Stance:
To do a kickflip you should have your front foot 2-4 inches behind the bolts.
Your back foot should be on the balls and on the tail.
Execution:
1.Crouch down.
2.Slam your back foot down to pop.
3.Slide your front foot up the board and flick it off at the bolts.
4.Watch the griptape come around and stop on it.
5.Ride away with a smirk on your face knowing you landed a Kickflip. KICKFLIP!!!!!!!!!!

Problems:
1.P. The board shoots away.
A. Lean forward more.
2.P. I don't get the full flip.
A. Flick harder and if that does not work suck your front leg up more.
3.P. I land with only my back foot.
A. Commit to it your flicking off to the side flick off at the bolts at a 45 degree angle. Also suck your front leg up and try to turn back to the board.
